Research Magazines Anaylsis

Since I am doing an African American magazine, I have just decided to do research on popular magazines that are known as African American magazines such as Roots. The following magazines focus on African Americans.

XXL

XXL is a hip-hop American magazine. It focuses on music, politics, and sports. It was founded by Fredo Ali in 1997. The magazine covers are famous for its large masthead and its American music artist.

Black Enterprise

Black Enterprise magazine's focus on African American success in business, investing, and wealth business resources. It was founded by Earl G. Graves in 1970. It discusses the following aspects: Arts & Culture, Sports, Travel and Leisure, Health & Wellness, and Fashion and Beauty. Their covers are known for its African American cover image, huge masthead, and attractive selling lines.

Laura Letinsky Laura Letinsky is a Canaian photographer born 1962 in Winnipeg , Canada. She is known for her still life art. She began her career with taking photos of people but late 1900s, she replaced people with objects. She uses objects such as fruit bowls to present their beauty.
