During the process of creating my project, I had to find my target audience and find effective ways to engage my audience. In modern days, the African American community is facing many situations from racism and stereotypes. As a young black female, I used my experiences and knowledge that will attract my target audience. My product engages with my audience through the issues presented and the ways the Afircan AMerican community  may come together to encourage one another. I included topics that my target audience will relate to the most because the older generation will  soon be gone and it will be left to the young generation. during my creation of the magazine, including  several topics that my audience may be immune to such as the latest youth that's inspiring and ways they can do the same. This allowed me to not only engage my audience and allow them to gain knowledge but also  encourage them, I also decided to engage with my audience through the color scheme. Many magazines used surveys, ratings stories, and more to engage their audience. Therefore, I used a survey to engage my target audience. The survey allowed me to have more suggestions and ideas that will lead my product to be more impactful. I choose to distribute my magazine with physical copies as well as online platforms. During current times, technology has developed in many ways. I choose to do it online for easy access and avoid fees. However, online has its disadvantage as well. Physical copies are being bought more to avoid the drainage in eyes. I believe both of these ways will be the most effective.

Still-Life photography - Laura Letinsky

For my magazine, I decided to research different photographers  that may inspire me for my magazine cover by their methods and focuses.   Laura Letinsky  Laura Letinsky is a Canaian photographer born 1962 in Winnipeg , Canada. She is known for her still life art. She began her career with taking photos of people but late 1900s, she replaced people  with objects. She uses objects such as fruit bowls to present their beauty. She presents that nature within her photographs.  https://thegreatdiscontent.com/interview/laura-letinsky https://www.artsy.net/artist/laura-letinsky   https://www.yanceyrichardson.com/artists/laura-letinsky
