Developing Cover Page

As I began to choose my pictures to use for my magazine, I wanted to use something where the background is nice and professional . I wanted my  model to be highlighted in the middle,  the center.

Below is two out of three cover pages I began to design to see how it may come out :

In both of these magazine covers , I did not want to have a image that takes away the model spotlight from its surroundings. For example, in the second image the background included bags, food, and more. This was going to give the model a bad image based on the surroundings. Therefore, I did not choose this magazine cover.

Still-Life photography - Laura Letinsky

For my magazine, I decided to research different photographers  that may inspire me for my magazine cover by their methods and focuses.   Laura Letinsky  Laura Letinsky is a Canaian photographer born 1962 in Winnipeg , Canada. She is known for her still life art. She began her career with taking photos of people but late 1900s, she replaced people  with objects. She uses objects such as fruit bowls to present their beauty. She presents that nature within her photographs.  https://thegreatdiscontent.com/interview/laura-letinsky https://www.artsy.net/artist/laura-letinsky   https://www.yanceyrichardson.com/artists/laura-letinsky
